why do we need such a space? because many of us do not have a safe space. at least not a safe space that is actually safe. so this is my safe space and it can be yours too. if you would like it to be. I would be honored if you would join me here sometimes. so we can just sit and… be. where we can relax. where we can let our body relax, let our mind relax. let our soul relax and just… be
I remember when I was younger, because I will be forever young, but when I was younger I used to injoy just sitting in my driveway and watching. I would sit and watch whatever. mind you, my street was the farthest it could be from busy. maybe one car would roll past every hour, outside of the neighbors. I would watch that car from the moment it came into my view until it turned the corner at the end of my street. and I was happy with that sight. I would watch the ants walk across the driveway from the neighbor’s grass until it reached my front lawn and disappeared. and I was excited. I would observe the leaves in the trees blowing waiting for the days when the ‘helicopters’ would be available to fly down from the branches of the maple tree that graced my front lawn, the curb lawn, we used to say.
